The 39th death anniversary of eminent journalist Abdus Salam, former editor of the now defunct English daily The Bangladesh Observer, is today.
On this occasion, a visit will be paid to his grave at Banani graveyard at 10:00am and a milad mahfil will be held, said a press release of Abdus Salam Smriti Parishad.
Salam was awarded Ekushey Padak for his contribution towards journalism.
