The result of ‘Gha’ unit (combined unit for science, business studies and humanities group students) admission test of Dhaka University (DU) under 2017-2018 academic session was published today as 14.35 percent aspirants passed in the test.
Vice-Chancellor (VC) Professor Md Akhtaruzzaman announced the results at central admission office in the university’s administrative building around 2.30 pm.
He said a total of 10,264 (three groups) admission seekers among 98,056 applicants secured the pass marks vying in the test against 1,610 seats.
The results are available on the university website www.admission.eis.du.ac.bd or students can get the results through sending SMS using any mobile operator. To get result through SMS, one will have to type “DU GHA roll number” and send it to 16321.
Students who got pass marks have been asked to fill in the subject selection forms from November 13 to November 23, the VC added.
Dean of the Faculty of Social Science and Coordinator of Gha-unit admission test Prof Dr Sadeka Halim, Online Admission Committee Convener Prof Dr Hasibur Rashid, Acting Registrar Md Enamuzzaman were present at the function, among others.
