A 15-year-old female student was found dead at a madrasa in Dhaka’s East Rampura area this afternoon.
officer-in-charge of Hatirjheel Police Station told that, Sanzida Rashid Meem a resident student of hafez section at Ulon Jatiya Mohila Madrasa, was found hanging from the ceiling in a toilet on the five-storey building’s rooftop around 12:30pm, Abu Mohammad Fazlul Karim.
Police recovered the body and sent it to Dhaka Medical College morgue for autopsy. Quoting teachers of the madrasa, the OC said that she was inattentive to her studies and might have committed suicide over study-pressure.
