The results of this year’s Higher Secondary Certificate and equivalent exams will be published on Aug 18, Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid has said.
Almost 1.2 million students took the tests this year held between Apr 3 and Jun 9.
As per the tradition, the education minister, along with chairmen of all education boards, will place before Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina copies of the results on that day.
Later in the day, the minister will officially announce the results at a media briefing, making them accessible to students.
The students will be able to see the results at their institutions and on the website (http://www.educationboard.gov.bd/) after 2pm.
Results will also be available on mobile phones.
A student will have to text ‘HSC<space>first three letters of relevant board<space>roll number<space>2016’ to 16222 to get the result in a return SMS.
