Indian Professor meets DU VC

Professor Dr. Dilip Halder, former Head of the Department of Economics of Jadavpur University, Kolkata and Member of West Bengal Commission for Backward Classes meet Prof. Dr. Md. Akhtaruzzaman, Vice-Chancellor of Dhaka University Monday (12th February)  at the latter’s office of the university.

Vice-Chancellor of University of Information Technology & Science (UITS) Prof. Dr. Mohammed Solaiman and Professor of the Department of Marketing of DU Dr. Belayet Hossain were also present there on this occasion.

During the meeting, they stressed the need for strengthening cultural exchange program between Bangladesh and India to make strong ties among the general people of these two countries.

The Indian Professor expressed his willingness to provide intellectual support and cooperation to DU for development of academic and research activities of the university.

Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Md. Akhtaruzzaman thanked the guest for his keen interest in academic and research activities of Dhaka University.
