Professor Abul Kashem Talukdar has been made the new chairman of Applied Nutrition and Food Technology department of Islamic University (IU) in Kushtia.
IU Vice-chancellor Professor M Harun-Ur-Rashid Askari approved his appointment for the next three years, IU acting Registrar SM Abdul Latif told UNB.
He was replaced by Professor M Rezaul Karim of the same department of the university, he added.
