He came up with the announcement at a press conference at BNP’s Naya Paltan central office.

The election will be held to the posts of the president and the secretary, he said adding that the voter list would be published on Monday.

The draft list of candidates will be published on July 4 while the final list of candidates contesting the election will be published on July 7, he also said.

The existing JCD central committee was dissolved on Jun 3.

A press released signed by BNP senior joint secretary general Ruhul Kabir Rizvi on the night of June 3 announced dissolution of the JCD central committee and formation of the next committee through council session within next 45 days.
