Kisholoy Balika College celebrates Bangabondhu’s birth anniversary

96th birth anniversary of Bangabondhu Sheikh Mujibar Rahman was celebrated today at Kisholoy Balika Biddaloy and College.

Students, teachers, guardians, members of governing body and local people join the discussion program held in the institution’s auditorium in the morning on the day. Students, teachers, and other prominent personalities deliver their speeches on the significance and learning of the national day.

They throw light on the life of Banga Bondhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and his contributions for the achievement of independence of Bangladesh. They signify that we have to be inspired by struggles, works and sacrifices of the best Bangali of thousands of years. They also highlight his role played for the establishment of children’s right and development. The principal Md. Rahmot Ullah, a famous writer and an educationist, urges the audience to build up their life following the teachings and principles of the life of nation’s father. He also advises the students to study more on the life and works of the great leader.

On this occasion the institution arranges an art and essay writing competition for the students. The chairman of the governing body, principal and other guests give away the prizes among the winners of the competition. For the purpose of informing and inspiration more than one fifty books written on Banga Bondhu, liberation war and history of Bangladesh are given as prize for the winners.

Alhaz Md. Salim Ullah Solu, the chairman of the governing body was present there as chairman of the program with other prominent personalities in the discussion. At the end of the program, a great grandeur cultural function is geared up by the spontaneous participation of the students of the institution.
