A five-member delegation led by Zhang Zuwu, Vice-President of Kunming University, China called on Dhaka University (DU) Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Md. Akhtaruzzaman on Friday (November o3) at the latter’s office of the university..
During the meeting they discussed matters of mutual interest specially the possibilities of undertaking joint collaborative academic, research and training programs by the University of Dhaka and Kunming University, China. Exchanges of teachers, students, researchers and cultural team between the two universities were also discussed in the meeting . They agreed to sign a MoU in this regard soon, said a press release here.
DU VC said, an excellent friendly relation between Bangladesh and China has been prevailing for a long time. He apprised the guests of a brief history of Dhaka University as well as academic and research activities.
Other team members were Prof. Luo Jun Yan, Prof. Mo Nan Ming, Prof. Chen Jing and Dr. Fan Chuan Zhang.
