More than one lake students sitting for SSC: Chittagong Board

1, 12,959 examinees will take their Secondary School Certificate (SSC) examinations under Chittagong Education Board (CEB) this year which is scheduled to begin from February 1 (Monday).

CEB officials said they have completed all preparations to hold the examination in a fair atmosphere.

As many as 24,571 students from science group, 30,688 from humanities group and 57,700 students from business administration group, totaling 112959, are scheduled to take their examinations.

The students will participate in the examinations from 1007 high schools through 169 centers.

A total of 72 vigilance teams consisting of teachers and magistrates have been formed to check any sort of unfair means or irregularities.

Mohammad Mahbub Hasan, controller of CEB told that the authority is determined to consider all possible options in preparation process to keep the trend of peaceful examination.
