Police disperse BCS jobseekers’ demo, 5 heldThe 34th BCS Cadre Deprived Forum on Saturday staged demonstrations at Shahbagh intersection to press home their various demands, including cancellation of the result of the 34th BCS examination.

Sources said the agitators under the banner of the 34th BCS Pass Cadre Deprived Forum formed human chain around 11:00 and tried to block the intersection, halting vehicular movement in the area.
Some of the protesters also spread their own blood in the street as ‘symbolic protest’ against government’s negligence towards them.

Their demand includes—cancellation of the result of 34th BCS examination, publication of new result after re-evaluating it on the basis of merit and filling up the 672 vacant posts from those who passed the 34th BCS examinations.

On information, police rushed in and dispersed them and picked up five protesters from the spot.
