A meeting of Bangladesh Private College Honors-Masters Teachers Association, Gazipur district branch demanding MPO was held on March 06 (Sunday).
President of central committee of the association Md. Nekbar Hossain was present there the as the chief guest. The meeting was presided over by Md. Jahidul Islam, the President of Gazipur district branch and lecturer of Bhawal Mirzapur University College.
Association General Secretary Md. Saiful Islam, Organizing Secretary Sukamal Sen, Members- Md. Aktaruzzaman, Molla Md. Mizanur Rahman, Md. Monir Hossain, Dulal Chandra Karmakar, Masum Billah also spoke on the occasion among others.
Speakers thanked the current government for modernizing the education system through dividing the education system into three levels- primary education, secondary education and higher education. In addition, they also demanded the MPO listing for 10 thousand teachers in 465 private colleges around the country.
