Results of the preliminary test of 15th teachers’ registration examination 2018 were published on Sunday while the pass rate stood at 20.53 per cent.
Non-Government Teachers’ Registration and Certification Authority under the education ministry conducted the test on April 19 this year, said a press release issued by the ministry.
A total of 7,40,240 candidates sat for the examinations this year out of whom 1,52,000 have passed.
The result was formally published on Sunday at 12:00pm.
Among the successful candidates some 59,725 sat for the test for school-level teaching jobs and 92,275 sat for the test for college-level jobs. Earlier some 8,76,033 candidates applied for school- and college-level tests.
