Schoolgirl electrocuted in Rajshahi

A class-four female student of a local school was killed after being electrocuted in Gangarampur village of Bagha Upazila on Friday morning. The deceased was identified as Rasheda Khatun, 10, daughter of Abdur Rashid of the village.

Rasheda came in touch with a live electric wire while feeding chickens at their poultry farm in the village around 11 am, leaving her unconscious.

 

Later, she was taken to Bagha Upazila Health Complex where the duty doctor declared her dead, said Adbulla-Hil-Baki, a physician of the health complex.
