Speaker of the Jatiya Sangsad Dr Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury today urged the students to attain skills in information technology (IT) to face the global competition and achieve the goal of 21st century.
“Students should be more skilled in information technology to compete globally, achieve the challenges of 21st century and get good positions,” she said.
The Speaker was addressing as chief guest at a textbook distribution programme at Afaz Uddin Memorial School and College at Kaliakoir upazila in Gazipur.
Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury urged the students to engage themselves in creative activities to build a positive society.
Founder and Chairman of the school Alhaz M Jalil Uddin presided over the programme.
Kaliakoir municipal mayor M Mujibur Rahman and principal of the institution M Delwar Hossain also spoke.
