The administration on Wednesday suspended an acting headmaster of Sanatan Government Primary School at Keshabpur upazila in Jessore district over child abuse, the district education officer confirmed.
The suspended teacher is Rabindranath Sarkar.
The administration took the decision as an investigation found Rabindranath guilty in stripping off six primary school students, officials confirmed dainikshiksha.com.
Assistant primary education officer Provat Kumar Roy investigated the matter submitted a report to the higher office.
The administration launched the investigation following complaints filed by the parents of the victim students with the school managing committee.
Rabindranath forced the students to put off their pants as they wanted to play football going against his will, said Jalal Uddin Biswas, a member of the school managing committee.
The incident took place during leisure period on Sunday. Parents came to learn about it when the victim students denied going to school on Monday.
The victim students felt a great humiliation and ashamed of going to school, parents alleged.
The aggrieved parents filed complaint the matter to the managing committee of the school.
Many such allegations are there against the acting headmaster, they said.
Hasan Ali, a guardian of a student of the school, alleged that the teacher often does not allow students, who are bellow 10, to visit toilet.
