2 girls ‘abducted’ from schoolyard

Two girls were abducted during their tiffin time in school in Srinagar upazila of Munshiganj district on Wednesday afternoon. The abducted girls are students of Class-IX at the Bhaggokul Harendra Lal High School and College and residents of Kamargaon village and Uttar Kamargaon village in the upazila.

Members of the two families lodged two separate complaints with Srinagar police station after their girls did not return home after school hours.

Confirming the abduction charge, Srinagar police station officer-in-charge Farid Uddin said police is trying to arrest whoever is behind the incident.
