Biman embraces bKash payment

The customers of bKash limited, the largest mobile financial service provider in the country can now pay through bKash while purchasing tickets from Biman Bangladesh Airlines.

Kamal Quadir, Chief Executive Officer of bKash Limited and A M Mosaddique Ahmed, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the national carrier signed an agreement on behalf of their respective organizations facilitating bKash payment during ticket purchase from Biman’s sales centers and website.

Among others,  Major General Sheikh Md Monirul Islam (retd), Chief External & Corporate Affairs Officer,  S Pervez Ahmed, Head of Corporate Governance, Legal & Company Secretary,  Golam Anjumanarul Islam – Head of Business Sales,   Ahasanul Kabir, Channel Manager, Business Sales and Syed Naim Ahmed, Account Manager, Business Sales of bKash and  Vineet Sood, Chief Financial Officer (CFO), Shakil Meraj, General Manager, Public Relations, Atiqur Rahman Chisty, General Manager,  Marketing & Sales, Salahuddin Ahmed, Deputy General Manager, Pricing and Mohiuddin Ahmed, Deputy General Manager, Central Accounts of Biman Bangladesh were present at the signing ceremony  held at the Biman Headquarters on October 9, 2017.

Launched in 2011, bKash is a joint venture of BRAC Bank, US based Money in Motion, International Finance Corporation of World Bank Group and Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, offering complete mobile financial services to the common people of Bangladesh.
