Nurul-Islam-nahid-nwbEducation Minister Nurul Islam Nahid today said tougher action will be taken against rumour-mongers of question paper leakage in the public examinations.

“A vested quarter spread rumour of question paper leakage to undermine the government’s achievements. Our vigilance will be very strong to resist such kinds of troublemakers during public examinations,” he told a meeting of monitoring committee on upcoming SSC and equivalent examinations in the conference room of the Education Ministry here.

Director General of Directorate of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Prof. Fahima Khatun, chairmen of different education boards, senior officials of the education ministry and heads of representatives of agencies concerned, among others, were present at the meeting.

Nahid said some dishonest people launch question paper leakage through social media to misguide examinees, which reflects negative impact on children’s minds.

Members of law enforcement agencies have already directed to keep their sharp vigil to combat such malpractices, he said.

“We have taken very tactful and cautious initiatives of printing and distribution process of question paper of public examinations. So, it is not possible to leak question paper,” the education minister added.
