HSC, equivalent results published; pass percentage 66.64

Total 66.64 percent students passed this year’s Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and its equivalent examinations across the country.

Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid handed over the results to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina at her official residence around 10:10 am. The chairmen of all the education boards were also present at the handover ceremony. 

Later, the Prime Minister unveiled the results digitally. The education minister will formally announce the results at a press briefing at his office around 1:00 pm.

All candidates can get their results from their respective examination centres; educational institutions; websites of their respective boards and through SMS on their mobile phones from 2:00 pm, officials said.

To get the results, students can also log on to the website www.educationboardresults.gov.bd.

For eight general education boards, the students have to type HSCfirst three letters of the respective boardsroll number2018 and then send to 16222.

The students of Alim have to writ AlimMadroll number2018 and sent to 16222 while the students of vocational courses have to type HSCTecroll number2018 and send to 1622.

A total of 13,11,457 students participated in this year’s HSC and its equivalent examinations which were held from April 2 to May 23.
