The Islamic University authorities scraped results of nine students on Monday for their involvement in adopting unfair means in different terminal examinations.
The decision came from an emergency meeting of IU examination disciplinary committee with vice-chancellor M Harun-Ur-Rashid Askari in the chair, said registrar office sources.
The punished nine students are Hasibur Rahman, Solaiman and Ahsan Khandakar of dawah and Islamic studies department of 2015-16 academic session, Billal Hossain and Tariqul Islam of public administration department of 2014-15 session, Mahdi Hasan and Abu Jayeed Sheikh of accounting and information system department of 2017-18 and 2016-17 sessions respectively and Hosneyara Khatun and Juthi Khatun of department of law of 2016-17 academic session.
