In this year’s SSC and equivalent examinations, girl students have once again outperformed their male counterparts.
Out of the total 1,303,426 students who passed, 676,445 were girls, while 626,981 were boys.
A total of 1,928,181 students appeared in the exams this year, of whom 960,816 were boys and 967,365 were girls.
The overall pass rate this year stands at 68.45%, with boys achieving a pass rate of 65.88% and girls achieving 71.03%.
This year, a total of 139,032 students obtained GPA-5. Among them, 65,416 were boys and 73,616 were girls. In every major metric, girls have performed better than boys in this year's SSC and equivalent examinations.
