Aiming to resist militancy and terrorist activities on the campus, the Chittagong University authority formed a cell to prevent militancy and terrorism yesterday.
The 17-member cell, headed by CU Vice-Chancellor Prof Iftekhar Uddin Chowdhury was formed to ensure proper educational environment on the campus and resist militancy, said CU Proctor Ali Asgar Chowdhury, also member secretary of the cell.
