Govt warns against question paper leak

Ministry of EducationAs the SSC and equivalent examinations are in progress, the government has reminded all of the consequences of spreading rumour about question paper leakage and any evil attempt to leak those.

The Education Ministry issued a notice in this regard on Thursday, senior information officer of the ministry Mohammad Saifullah told that.

He said one will be awarded the highest 14 years’ imprisonment and fined maximum Tk 1 crore under the ICT Act for any attempt to spread rumour about the question paper leakage on Facebook and other electronic media.

Saifullah also said there is a provision of four years’ jail term along with fine in the Public Examinations (Offences) Act for any bid to leak question papers.
