5 meritorious students of Dhaka University (DU) have been awarded Scholarship for their for securing the highest CGPA in their respective department.
Two of them got “Prof. Dr. Md. Delwar Husain and Raihana Husain Scholarship” and others received “Prof. Dr. Md. Delwar Husain Trust Fund, Gopalgonj Scholarship” for their outstanding academic performances.
The recipients of scholarships are- Md. Redwanul Karim, Homaira Bushra, Md. Tajmul Hasan, Sonia Akter and Uttam Mandal.
Prof. Dr. Md. Akhtaruzzaman, Vice-Chancellor of DU distributed the scholarships among the students as the chief guest on Tuesday (November 14) at VC’s lounge of the university.
Treasurer of DU Prof. Dr. Md. Kamal Uddin, Prof. Dr. Abu Md. Delwar Hossain, Dean of the Faculty of Arts Prof. Dr. Abu Md. Delwar Hossain, Acting Registrar Md. Enamuzzaman, Chairman of the Department of Islamic History & Culture Prof. Dr. Md. Ataur Rahman Miazi, Provost of Muktijoddha Ziaur Rahman Hall Prof. Dr. Zia Rahman and Assistant Prof. Mahmudur Rahman were present on this occasion.
