This year’s Primary Education Completion (PEC) and Ebtedayee examinations will begin on November 18.
The examinations will continue till November 26.
Education Ministry Public Relations Officer (PRO) Rabindranath Roy confirmed the matter to Dainikshiksha Wednesday (July 25).
However, as many as 28,04,509 students sat for PEC and 2,91,566 for Ebtedayee examinations last year.
PEC examination system was introduced in 2009 while Ebtedayee examination system in 2010 with a view to ensure quality education.
