Bus set on fire in Dhaka’s Gulistan

Unidentified people set fire to a bus at Zero Point area of Gulistan in Bangladesh capital Dhaka Tuesday afternoon.

The bus of Malancha Paribahan was set on fire while it became standstill due to traffic signal at zero point at about 1:00am, New Age correspondent reported from the spot.

No casualty was reported so far.

Severe traffic congestion occurred in the area following the fire.

The bus was torched when the Bangladesh Nationalist Party and its allies in their ongoing one-point simultaneous movement were enforcing a dawn-to-dusk hartal across the country.
