A three-member Korean delegation on May 28 paid a courtesy call on Dhaka University (DU) Vice-Chancellor Professor AAMS Arefin Siddique at his office on the campus.
Professor Chang soo Suh of Soonchunhyang University, South Korea, led the delegation. Other members of the delegation were Bae Jin-Hyeon, Deputy Country Director of KOICA Bangladesh office and Lee Chul Hee, Director of Mark Any, Seoul, according to a DU press release.
Associate Professor of the Institute of Information Technology of DU BM Mainul Hossain, Associate Professor Management Department Muhammad Shariat Ullah, Assistant Professor of Organization Strategy and Leadership Department Md. Rashedur Rahman and some other teachers were present at the meeting.
During the meeting, they discussed the possibilities of development of DU ie-Lab (Dhaka University Innovation and Entrepreneurship Lab) with the financial assistance from KOICA.
Professor Arefin thanked the guests for their visit to Dhaka University and expressing keen interest in its academic and research activities, the release added.
