THE fourth convocation of Islamic University is scheduled to be held on the campus in Kushtia on January 7, 2018.
President Abdul Hamid, also the chancellor of the university, will preside over the convocation, university registrar office sources said on Sunday.
The university will confer certificates on around 38,000 graduate and post-graduates students, along with MPhil and PhD researchers, at the convocation, acting registrar of the university SM Abdul Latif said.
Islamic University vice-chancellor Professor M Harun-Ur-Rashid Askari told that all the necessary arrangements were being made to hold the ceremony successfully.
