A total of 3, 44,114 students of primary and secondary schools will get 29,67,081text books free of cost on the 1st day of January, 2019 in Manikganj district.
Manikganj District Education Office (DEO) sources said about 20,41,186 text books will be distributed among all the secondary level schools, including 162 secondary shools and 30 madrasas.
District Primary Education Office (DPEO) sources said a total of 9,25,895 books will be distributed among all of the primary level school including 649 government primary schools in the district on the 1st January, 2019.
All the students of KG schools and Ebtedayee madrasas also will get text books in the district at the same time, the sources added.
