DU ‘Ga’ unit results: 10.98% of students pass test

The results of the Dhaka University ‘Ga’ unit admission test has been published. Approximately 10.98 percent of the applicants have passed the initial step. 

Among the 2,850 selected, 1,250 applicants will be finally enrolled to the eight departments of the university’s Business Studies faculty. Dhaka University Vice-Chancellor Dr Md Akhtaruzzaman announced the results at a press conference on Monday.

A total of 26,963 candidates applied for the unit while 25,958 students took the one-hour MCQ test on Sep 14. Results will be available on the university's website at admission.eis.du.ac.bd. Students will be able to access the results by typing their own roll number, board name, passing year and roll number of HSC. A student will have to type DU GA roll No and SMS to 16321 to get the result in a reply SMS.

Selected students will have to provide their preferences about choice of subjects in a form available on the website between Sep 19 and Oct 1. The candidates with quotas will have to collect and submit this form between Sep 18 and 26 from the Dean's Office of the Business Studies faculty.

Students can apply to check the results between Sep 18 and 28, submitting fees at the Dean's Office. Additional information about admissions is available on the university’s website.
